The Desert Province is a province of the Hyrule overworld in Twilight Princess.[1][2]

Features and Overview

The Desert Province is only accessible after Link has given Auru's Memo to Fyer of Lake Hylia. This will make the Oasis Flight available to the young hero, and while he will only be able to go the first time for free, Link will have to pay a fee from then on. Other than Warping to the Desert Province, taking the Oasis Flight is the only manner in which Link can reach the Gerudo Desert.[3][4]

The Desert Province consists entirely of the Gerudo Desert. It is home to the Arbiter's Grounds and the Mirror Chamber, through which Link can enter the Twilight Realm. The Cave of Ordeals is located here as well at the Gerudo Mesa; however, its entrance is initially blocked by a piece of the Bridge of Eldin that must be removed before being able to access the interior of the cave. One of the six Owl Statues is also found in this Province.
