"Curry for What Ails You" is a Side Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Overview
At Rito Stable, Link will find Lester, who is talking about his need for Curry Rice to himself.[2] When he speaks to him, Lester shares that he can not get enough spice,[3] specifically requiring Curry Rice.[4] While he is in possession of the Hylian Rice needed to make the meal, he does not have any Goron Spice.[5]
Unable to leave the Stable on a whim,[6] he asks Link to bring him some Goron Spice if he ever has any.[7] If Link agrees to help, Lester thanks him.[8] He shares that Curry Rice warms him up when he eats it.[9] This begins the Side Quest.
Goron Spice is sold at the Goron Gusto Shop in Goron City. The Merchant Yammo also sells Goron Spice. Once Link has obtained some, he can return to Rito Stable. Lester notices if it is in his Inventory and asks to see it.[10]
Lester confirms that it is indeed Goron Spice and asks to purchase it in exchange for 50 Rupees.[11] If Link agrees, Lester remarks that he will now be able to make Curry Rice.[12] He gives Link a Purple Rupee as payment.[13]
Afterwards, Link can continue to give Goron Spice to Lester in exchange for Hylian Rice.[14] He also tells Link that he can make other types of curry by adding extra ingredients.[15] Once he is done talking, the Side Quest will be completed.
