The Book of Koridai is an Item in The Faces of Evil.[1]

Location and Uses

The Book of Koridai is a sacred relic that is kept inside of the Shrine of Koridai in Glutko. It is being guarded by the monster Glutko, one of Ganon's minions. Earlier in his adventure, Link meets the reader Aypo in Nortinka who offers to read the Book's secrets if Link brings it to him.[2] When Link brings the Book of Koridai to Aypo, he reveals that the Book's sacred power is the only thing that can defeat Ganon.[3]

The Book of Koridai defeats Ganon in a single hit by throwing it at him. It magically imprisons Ganon inside its pages, turning him into an illustrated page.

Trivia

  • In The Wand of Gamelon, a book that appears identical to the Book of Koridai appears when Zelda uses the Wand of Gamelon to defeat Ganon. The wand creates a chain that binds Ganon before he is similarly imprisoned in the book.
