Defense Up

Armoranths grow in Hyrule Ridge and the Akkala Highlands. They are plentiful near Mija's Great Fairy Fountain, which is outside of Tarrey Town. When an Armoranth is Cooked into a meal in a Cooking Pot, the resulting dish will grant Link an increased defense when eaten.[1] Armoranths can be roasted by a Fire to create Roasted Armoranths. At the Kochi Dye Shop, Link can use Armoranths to create Purple Dye.

In order to start the "Little Sister's Big Request" Side Quest, Link must find common ground with Jana, or else she will not speak to him. If he has an Armoranth, Jana will notice and ask for it.[4] If Link gives it to her, she will state that it is her favorite plant and that she may get along with him after all.[5]

As a flower, Armoranths can be used to Cook the following meals:
