User Navigation Bar

The User Navigation Bar, or User Nav is a separate page which goes across the top of the user page it is coded into. The User Nav has the domain of User:Username/nav, and can be used by typing {{User:Username/nav}}. This bar can be used to help navigate visitors through the wondrous pages linked in the bar, such as the user's sandbox or Myspace page.

Template

The default User Nav template can be used to easily create a User Navigation bar and personalize it to the likings of the user. To use this template, type in {{Subst:User Nav}}, then go back and edit the bar to your liking. More advanced user may wish to create the User Nav box themself. While this has been done before, using the default User Nav template is encouraged.

Customization

By using the default User Nav template, all the text is shown where is will go. Once the bar has been created, users can change the color of links, add/removed boxes, and also make the box transparent so the links seem to float.
