July 26, 2014: NOW HIRING!
- Zelda Wiki is now hiring! Are you passionate about The Legend of Zelda and want to share your knowledge of the series? Then consider helping out the internet's largest resource for information about all things Zelda. Anyone can edit, but we need experts to ensure that our articles are correct and meet certain quality standards.Here's what we're looking for:
- Content Controllers
- You'll be responsible for checking edits made to pages (patrolling), fact-checking including adding references and sources, and ensuring that the Wiki's quality standards are kept. You'll also have to do a bit of cleanup sometimes, such as removing duplicate images. You should be fluent in English and knowledgeable about Zelda. Perfectionist-types would be well-suited for this role!
- Techies
- We're also looking for technical staff. We're working on a redesign of the Wiki at the moment and would love some front-end developers to help with that. We also need someone to help out with server maintenance as well.
- Previous experience with MediaWiki is a plus, but not essential. For any role on Zelda Wiki you'll need to be able to work as part of a team, be available regularly and use our online staff chatroom for communication. Please note that Zelda Wiki is run entirely by volunteers and so we can't pay you for your work.
