Scenery from Skyward Sword

File:SS Scenery .jpg
Skyward Sword scenery

Nintendo has described the graphical style of this game as "a painting coming to life", and who could argue? With its great quality and breathtaking view, this image deserves to be featured. Minda of Darkness 23:35, 22 August 2010

  1. I support it. It'sa really good image to add and I like the art style. - AtrumLevis  (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 14:53, 5 September 2010 (EDT)
  2. Ooh... pretty. Nice, well-drawn image. I think it seems to do a nice job of representing what we've seen of Skyward Sword thus far. However, the image is somewhat bland, and seems to not have any actual focus. The reason I'm OK with that is because there are no other featured images of just scenery. Alter  {T C B H } 19:21, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
  3. I like how the picture is high quality. This deserves to be featured! --Zeldarules8 19:56, 28 December 2010 (EST)
  4. Yes. Yes. Like Alter stated, we don't have a lot of pictures of just scenery. It's very high quality, and reminds us of the joy of Skyward Sword we are to enjoy. This deserves to be featured! PreludeOfHeroes 21:47, 25 January 2011 (EST)

  1. I have a strong feeling this image is going to end up being "one in a series", given the Cezanne-like landscape artstyle of Skyward Sword. It wouldn't make any sense if this was the only landscape-like piece Nintendo cranks out in the Skyward Sword era because the image work is so brilliant. I'd just rather wait and see than to vote now. — ciprianotalk 19:06, 3 January 2011 (EST)

  1. This image just makes me think about how much I am going to LOVE Skyward Sword. It's a pleasant reminder each time :D (Unsigned vote - see rule 6 above)
  2. I am looking forward to september for skywar sword's release and think that this should be featured. (Unsigned vote - see rule 6 above)

Mirror of Twilight (Front)

The front side of the Mirror of Twilight

The Mirror of Twilight is a very beautiful work of art that is rarely seen in the series. Vastly unique. But the problem is that arguably the back side of the Mirror is just as beautiful and is even more obscure and rarely appreciated. It's appearance is so intricate and alluring on either side that you can't stop staring at it. (Now we now why Yeta couldn't stop looking at it!) So I'm choosing to nominate them both at once. This one is for the front of the mirror. Scroll down the page for the back! GO VOTE!User:Matt/sig 01:51, March 30, 2011 (UTC)

  1. This image is wonderful. it really displays the great detail that went into Twilight Princess. it's a fairly high-quality image and does include one of the Legend of Zelda series basic icons, the legendary Triforce.Vulpix001 19:46, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

  1. This image seems to be of mediocre quality. While viewing the image in full size, i noticed that the black line around the edge of the mirror seemed jagged in some places. I also noticed this with the edges of the image itself. In addition, the entire image appears a little blurry, as if it was scaled up from a smaller image. --TheHK (T) (C) 13:13, 27 August 2011 (EDT)

Link VS. Ganon(dorf)

File:OoT Link Ganon Artwork.jpg
Artwork of the battle between Link and Ganondorf

An accurate and dazzling depiction of what is perhaps one of the most iconic and epic battles in the Legend of Zelda series, this image truly exhibits the extent of Ganon(dorf)'s awe-inspiring, god-given power and might as well as the ferocity of the battle between Good and Evil, Courage and Power. The size of the image is decent great and the quality is excellent. Since we already have a featured picture of the battle between Link and Dark Link, it would seem appropriate to have one of Link and Ganon as well!

By the way, I think this image puts the Link vs. Dark Link artwork to shame! — Hylian King [*] 15:27, 22 April 2011 (EDT)

  1. I love this piece. It shows the epicness that the entire Ocarina of Time game had, and reminds me of the joy I had while playing it. It's the epic battle that I think symbolizes Zelda. The quality of the image is high and I think it was redone excellently for the OOT3DS remake. LegendOfHyrule31 13:37, 25 April 2011 (EDT)
  2. I just recently looked at it full-resolution to see what I thought of the details on this image. They're amazing. Ganondorf's eyes... intense!! And the smudged colors of his armor... this image needs to be viewed at full size to be appreciated the way it deserves to be. It's totally romanticized and I love it. Feature! Embyr 75  --Talk-- 18:28, 25 April 2011 (EDT)
  3. My god, this image is just massive. It very accurately depicts the final battle with Ganondorf, which is definitely the high point of the game. I have no idea why this wasn't featured previously. Gets my vote for sure.ZENOX T C 02:03, 25 June 2011 (EDT)
  4. This artwork is perhaps one one the best artwork released for the game. Ganondorf's red eyes, and the glowing floor only make the experience greater!—★Chip200 15:21, 9 May 2011 (EDT)
  5. I have this art in poster form up on my wall :) . Anyways, It's a great piece of artwork that I think absolutely deserves being a Featured Picture. My vote goes toward. Gormanbros 20:33, 25 July 2011 (EDT)
  6. Quite the contrary to oppose #1, this image is very high in quality. At full resolution, one can actually see that the image was done in a pastel sort of effect, making it look hand-drawn (if it already isn't). It's well used--the directionality of the effect gives the viewer a a sense of intense, rapid motion, capturing the intensity of one of the best moments in videogaming. From the rivets on the floor, to the fringe on Ganondorf's cape, this image captures it all. It certainly deserves featured status.Rdnckj258 10:32, 2 September 2011 (EDT)

Treasure Sphere

File:Enemy orb.png
Treasure Sphere

Came across this ages ago, and I've finally got around to nominating it. Sure, it's a minor item gameplay-wise, and only appeared in one game in the series. But does that matter? I never imagined we'd have such a high-quality image of a treasure sphere; I love how it's got the little puff of smoke, and the colour is so eye-popping. I think it's fun and unique, anyone agree? User:Adam/sig 15:36, 11 May 2011 (EDT)

  1. Brilliant quality and an interesting image. Featuring this image would be a good way to introduce people to an obscure item that they have not seen before. The curling smoke just makes it that much more interesting--Fierce diety 00:23, 12 May 2011 (EDT)
  2. Amazing coloring. Not only is the item itself pretty cool, but I've always thought those treasure orbs looked epic. The smoke at the bottom gives it a very mysterious vibe, too. The Reject Phoenix 03:59, 12 May 2011 (EDT)
  3. What an excellent render! I could stare at this image for hours on end... If only we could have a looping animated image of this quality that would feature all the colors! A man can always dream! What an amazing picture, though. Definitely has my vote. — Hylian King [*] 08:17, 12 May 2011 (EDT)
  4. Whoa, that looks awesome. The smoke looks like a Floormaster a bit AND my favorite color is purple. I never knew they were called Treasure Spheres either. Epicly voting for this.- TriforceSlash 18:19, 12 May 2011 (EDT)
  5. Sheesh, man. I always see these and I have to slash at these whenever they appear from any enemies, it's just so surreal and beautiful looking, plus, you really and honestly don't know what will appear in the mystical/mysterious sphere, really. I vote for this, very, very much. Hylian Historic 14:48, 3 June 2011 (EDT)

  1. The quality isn't the best, and I think the picture is kind of odd. The smoke seems to have been taken from another shot. TriforcePieceofWisdom 13:04, 22 June 2011 (EDT)
  2. The quality seems quite poor. The smoke does stand out quite a bit more than it ought to, it isn't the same quality as the rest of the image. It looks like it was just pasted over it, just tacked on after the fact, poorly. Several parts of the image are very blurry, which makes an unpleasant contrast with the parts that are very sharp. I just don't see how it stands out.User:Matt/sig 05:23, July 21, 2011 (UTC)

Great Fairies from The Wind Waker
