Zapshrooms can be found below trees in the Gerudo Highlands as well as in forests in Deep Akkala. They are also sold in Gerudo Town by Ardin. When eaten raw, Zapshrooms can restore half of a Heart. Zapshrooms can also be cooked into meals using a Cooking Pot to grant Link Shock Resistance.[1] Burning a Zapshroom with Fire will turn it into a Toasty Zapshroom.
Five Zapshrooms, along with five Yellow Lizalfos Tails, are required to upgrade the Rubber Set to its third tier at a Great Fairy Fountain. They can also be used at the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village to make Yellow Dye.
