Cooking Effects |
Zapshrooms can be found below trees in the Gerudo Highlands as well as in forests in Deep Akkala. They are also sold in Gerudo Town by Ardin. When eaten raw, Zapshrooms can restore half of a Heart. Zapshrooms can also be cooked into meals using a Cooking Pot to grant Link Shock Resistance.[1] Burning a Zapshroom with Fire will turn it into a Toasty Zapshroom. They can also be used at the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village to make Yellow Dye.
Zapshrooms are among the mushrooms that can be used to make Cream of Mushroom Soup, a Fish and Mushroom Skewer, Fragrant Mushroom Sauté, Fruit and Mushroom Mix, Glazed Mushrooms, a Meat and Mushroom Skewer, a Mushroom Omelet, Mushroom Rice Balls, Mushroom Risotto, a Mushroom Skewer, Copious Mushrooms Skewers, Salt-Grilled Mushrooms, and Steamed Mushrooms.
Five Zapshrooms, along with five Yellow Lizalfos Tails, are required to upgrade all three pieces of the Rubber Armor set to their third tier at a Great Fairy Fountain.
