The Yowaka Ita Shrine,[1] designated by the Trial name Collected Soul,[1] is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild. It is exclusive to The Champions' Ballad DLC Pack.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Yowaka Ita Shrine is found in the Forest of Spirits on the Great Plateau. It is one of four Ancient Shrines that appear on the Great Plateau as part of the "EX The Champions' Ballad" Main Quest. In order to access the Shrine, Link must defeat the various Bokoblins and Chuchus that appear within the Forest during the Trial.[2] After the last Enemy is defeated, the Shrine will rise up from beneath the ground. As Link enters the Shrine, he is greeted by its Monk, Yowaka Ita.[3]

Themes and Navigation

Yowaka Ita Shrine features one large chamber with three platforms. The first platform has a Concave Slot directly in front of the entrance. The Monk's Pedestal bearing Yowaka Ita is behind a portcullis beside the Concave Slot. Further into the Ancient Shrine, the platform slopes downward and two Spiked Iron Balls and two small Boulders continually roll down the slope, bouncing off of obstacles in their path before falling off the bottom of the platform.

At the bottom of the platform are two thin metal bridges to the second platform, which bears a large Concave Slot in front of a portcullis and a large metal bucket. The third platform floats off to the side of the second platform and slopes downward toward the second platform. On the third platform, three small Boulders, two Spiked Iron Balls, a large Boulder, a metal Treasure Chest, an Ancient Orb, and a big Ancient Orb are continually rolling down ramps and then down the slope. One part of the platform has a Tilted Platform, which pushes up anything that gets stuck on it.

To complete the Ancient Shrine, Link must use the Magnesis Rune on the metal bowl. It can then be used to catch the Ancient Orbs and bring them to the second platform. put the Ancient Orb into the slot near the entrance of the Shrine. The small Ancient Orb can be brought back to the Concave Slot at the entrance, opening the portcullis that blocks the Monk's Pedestal. Yowaka Ita will congratulate Link for completing the Trial, and they present him with a Spirit Orb as a reward.[4] The Monk will then wish him well before fading away.[5]

The metallic Treasure Chest on the third platform can be caught using the metal bowl. Opening it will give Link a bundle of five Bomb Arrows. By inserting the large Ancient Orb into its respective Concave Slot on the second platform, a nearby portcullis will open. Inside is a stone Treasure Chest containing a Phrenic Bow.
