The Young Woman is a character in A Link Between Worlds.
Biography
Hyrule
The Young Woman is the caretaker of the Cuccos in Kakariko Village. She seems quite knowledgeable about Cuccos, speaking highly of their gliding ability and the nutritional value of their eggs. [1][2]She is very protective of her feathery friends, becoming annoyed when they are 'borrowed' by the village children, and worrying about them vanishing -similarly to the Sages- after Link obtains the Three Pendants. [3][4] A few Cuccos reside in the pen behind her house.
Lorule
The Young Woman who lives in Lorule shares her Hylian counterpart's great love for Cuccos. She mourns over the destruction of their coop (the method of which is not seen), and promises the eggs she holds that she will protect them from any further harm.[5] Since her home was destroyed, she can be found in a corner of Lorule's Milk Bar.
Trivia
- In the Young Woman's house in Hyrule, there is -appropriately- a painting of a Cucco. Humorously, if Link Wall Merges behind it, he will appear to have the Cucco's head.
- The pen for the her Cuccos is much larger than her house, which shows how much she cares for them.
- There is a square of sand in the Cucco pen behind her house that hides a Maiamai. The Sand Rod is needed to rescue it.
