Template:Place Veil Falls is a waterfall located in the north-eastern section of The Minish Cap. It is the home to Biggoron, who, after Link re-unites the Gorons, will appear at the very top. After defeating Vaati, Link may speak to the Biggoron, who will then eat Link's shield.[1] He will later spit up the Mirror Shield, which is much stronger.[2]

In order to progress up Veil Falls, Link needs to enter a cave that is blocked by the Source of the Flow. In order to clear the rock, a gold Kinstone, held by the late King of Hyrule, has to be fused with it. This is obtained after Link has cleared the Royal Crypt.[3]

At the very top of Veil Falls is a whirlwind, that serves as the entrance to the Cloud Tops, the location of the Palace of Winds and the last element, the Wind Element.[4][5]

Splitblade, one of the nine Blade Brothers, can also be found here.[6]

By fusing Kinstones, a Golden Tektite will appear in Veil Falls.

Many enemies appear in Veil Falls, including Keese, Helmasaur, Rock Chuchus, Wisps, Rupee Likes, and Bob-ombs.

  1. "Is that by any chance a shield? Well, among us Gorons, who know well the taste of steel... They are considered a fine delicacy. Little Goron! Please, goro! Let me just nibble on the corner, would you? I will give it back to you just as soon as I've had the tiniest taste." — Biggoron (MC)
  2. "It-It seems your shield has changed shape a little as I was chewing on it... Oh, but it's fine! It is still a shield after all, just a slightly differently shaped one! I think..." — Biggoron (MC)
  3. "I grant to you this Kinstone... Seek the source of the flow in Hyrule... Only then will your path open..." — King Gustaf (MC)
  4. "So! This was what they meant by all of that "source of the flow" business! Well, this waterfall certainly is the source of all Hyrule's water. According to King Gustaf, the final element lies somewhere behind the falls. We've dawdled long enough, Link! Let's go find that element!" — Ezlo (MC)
  5. "Link!! What were you thinking, child! You just reaped the whirlwind, as they say! We could be dead right now!" — Ezlo (MC)
  6. "I am the nearly best swordsman in Hyrule, Splitblade! If you train with me, you will discover the secrets of your hidden power!" — Splitblade (MC)
