::Secondly, as I have already pointed out, Cuccos have in fact been referred to as chickens several times in the games before. A much more recent instance would be in BotW when Cado says "A Cucco that can't fly would be...just a glorified chicken! How boring!" If you are convinced that Cuccos have been called "non-chickens" and "non-landfowl", then please provide a source to that claim.

Edit Warring

Hello. This is regarding your edits to the Cucco page, more specifically your revert of Chuck's correction. Reverting someone's edit over a disagreement is what we refer to as 'edit warring', which goes against our wiki guidelines. Please review our guide on editing etiquette and be mindful of them.

In this case, "chicken" would be more correct as Cuccos are more specifically based on domesticated chickens than other forms of landfowl. Furthermore, they have been called chickens in game media before. For example, when the Pocket Cucco or Cojiro in OoT hatches: "Look! A chicken hatched from the egg you were incubating! It's the miracle of life!" Also when NPCs refer to woman who raises Cuccos: "That lady takes care of chickens, but she is, in fact, allergic to them. Oh well." These were both taken from a text dump of OoT. Midoro (talk) 01:30, 25 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Cuccos are called non-chickens and non-landfowl more often than they are called chickens. Lagagamorp (talk) 01:47, 25 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
First, please keep all discussions to one talk page. It is not necessary to flip between talk pages on a single subject.
Secondly, as I have already pointed out, Cuccos have in fact been referred to as chickens several times in the games before. A much more recent instance would be in BotW when Cado says "A Cucco that can't fly would be...just a glorified chicken! How boring!" If you are convinced that Cuccos have been called "non-chickens" and "non-landfowl", then please provide a source to that claim.
Regardless of what they have been or continue to be called, edit warring is still discouraged and we ask that you please respect that. Midoro (talk) 02:16, 25 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
