Welcome to my talk page...comment a whole bunch, spam minimally, and...maybe I should add a cool background...
:O
Hey! How've you been?
Got addicted to a game and couldn't visit, huh? Haha, I've done that before. It's crazy. User:Ando/sig 01:26, 14 December 2008 (UTC
- I've been fine...the game is actually pretty similar to Mario...probably why I got so addicted. so...how have you and your brother been?--Claire 05:01, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Er, my brother? I don't remember talking about him ever. You might be thinking about Seablue and his brother. :P But we've been good, thanks! User:Ando/sig 20:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- A pun...I'm talking about Zelda Wiki.--Stalkid 20:15, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, right... Should have known... I feel stupid now. :P User:Ando/sig 21:57, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- not a big deal at all...*thinks for several moments on how to complete the sentence*--Stalkid 02:24, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
REALLY?
I'm shocked, confused, inspired, and depressed by this...
honestly, the cover was obviously made with two paint pictures and a pic of link from deviantArt. The plot was long and tedious, though it stuck to the point and left the plot unresolved...plus...can they get a good pic of Saria? the only two pics are the 2 ugliest pics of her. I does not feature skull kid, which greatly disappoints me...shall I go on? I'M NOT SAYING ITS COMPLETELY AWFUL, BUT...comment.
Need Help
I've found an excellent picture of skull kid/stalkid without majoras mask, but I have two problems:
- I'm not sure if its fanon or canon. If its fanon, I'm worried Adam will complain about that fact that it isn't absolutely perfect.
- I can upload the damn file! It won't let me...
Please help.
- Well, it really depends on what you want to use it for. ZW.org policy states that fan art can't be used in articles; however, on your user page is just fine.
- Also, you can't upload the file? What type of messages are you getting? If it's just a matter of not knowing how, well here's a nifty little guide. Otherwise, tell me what problems you're having and I'll try to work them out as best as I can. User:Ando/sig 20:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm really hoping it isn't fanon, because its a really good picture. And the problem with uploading it is really just a matter of my insanely slow computer.--Stalkid 20:18, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- Got it figured out..but now I have 2 more problems:
- Should I give the credit to Nintendo?
- How do you make wiki-colored backgrounds?
please help a second time... --Stalkid 22:37, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Glad you were able to get it uploaded properly! As for your questions...
- Aye, credit should be given to Nintendo in this case. It's a re-colored and modified version of a piece of Nintendo's official art, so in a sense it's still theirs.
- Wiki-colored backgrounds... Well, over the past few months we've been going around the Wiki and actually making the backgrounds of images transparent (like in [1]) instead of the wiki-background-coloring. BUT, since this particular image is likely just going to be used on user pages and such, I'll let you in on a secret (and listen close, because I guard this one well): the hex code for the background image is 1c3855 (or, for a really long and convoluted version if you're using an editor that doesn't use hex codes for colors, Red: 28 | Green: 56 | Blue: 85 | Hue: 211 | Saturation: 67 | Brightness: 33). So just make the background that color and poof, you're done.
I hope I explained that well. If you need any more information, feel free to ask! User:Ando/sig 04:21, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- thanks...all secrets are safe with me. --Stalkid 03:31, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- Ok...my insanely dyi job is working...I think...--Stalkid 03:47, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, I can see the image, so I'd say it's working! ;) User:Ando/sig 07:40, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Any Articles?
I'd gladly make an article...the only problem is I can't think of anything to write an article about. If you can think of a subject, I'll make it.
