On October 28, 2003, another IGN Boards poster named sexualburgerking, who would later go on to co-produce the animations and form part of the DancingTriforce group, would make his first post in the thread, sarcastically praising a trailer that Joe_Cracker had posted for the movie along with his script writing and appearing to prioritize revealing his planned voice cast over working on the script.<ref>{{Cite Web|quote= THIS IS ABSOLUTE POETRY!<br>That "trailer" is incredibly breathtaking!! The Legend of Zelda: The Light of Courage is a series of web animations that were mainly produced by IGN Boards users sexualburgerking, Cellius_18 and orquiox throughout 2005 and 2006. The series was created to parody a script for a film adaptation of The Legend of Zelda animated series that was written by another IGN Boards user, Joe_Cracker, who planned to pitch the script to DIC Entertainment, the company that produced the animated series.

The first of many forum threads promoting the script ("The Legend of Zelda: The Light of Courage - test your Power, Wisdom, and COURAGE", originally titled "The Legend of Zelda: The Light of Courage - A working progress") was posted by Joe_Cracker on September 5, 2003 to the IGN Boards. The first post made for the thread announced his plans for the movie, which included it being based on and using an animation style updated from the animated series, returning most of the cartoon's original voice cast alongside introducing new voice actors for new characters who would be revealed with every ten people who signed a petition to get the movie made and a short film based on The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! titled "Super Mario Bros. Super Mini Movie" that would precede the main feature.[1] The announcement was met with skepticism from other forum posters regarding the film being based on the animated series, which had a mostly negatively reception among fans at the time, Cracker's ability to make the movie, DIC Entertainment's financial struggles at the time and Nintendo not being allowed to take ideas from fans.[2][3] Joe_Cracker would continue to post his plans for the movie, with skepticism from other posters gradually increasing, though some posters attempted to give Cracker advice and constructive criticism. One of the posters who had attempted to help Cracker, THESPOTLIGHT, accepted an offer from him to become the director for The Light of Courage and have the ability to edit the script on the terms that he gave credit for his work and did not alter the story or characters.[4][5] ...

On October 28, 2003, another IGN Boards poster named sexualburgerking, who would later go on to co-produce the animations and form part of the DancingTriforce group, would make his first post in the thread, sarcastically praising a trailer that Joe_Cracker had posted for the movie along with appearing to prioritize revealing his planned voice cast over working on the script.[6]

Summary

Part 1

Part 1 adapts Act 5 Scene 3, which is when Link and Zelda first encounter Majora's Mask in the script.

The video opens with Majora's Mask, possessing a Stalfos, confronting Link and Zelda in the land of Dochoth, which is represented by a plain lined with erupting volcanoes and palm trees. Zelda asks Link what the Stalfos is wearing, and Link replies that it's only a mask. Majora then retorts that he is more than merely a mask, and Link then attacks with a Sword Beam to no effect, causing Majora to mock the hero for the ineffective attack and forcing the two to flee.

Part 2

Part 2 adapts the majority of Act 4 Scene 2, which is when Link, Zelda and Eian visit Arcadia and meet Prince Facade and Tingle.

The video opens with Eian

All you guys who want to talk about the Zelda movie, this is the topic for you.
As you may all know, the movie is based on the 80's t.v. show, and the simplist things about this movie is.
    1. It will use the same animation from the T.V. show but with an up to date look, such as shadow effects, motion effects, and more
    2. The same sound effects, that originated from the first Zelda game will be used as well as many others, old and new.
    3. It will also feature most of the same voice cast, but for my ideas for new cariters and other Zelda cariters, never seen in the T.V. show and who should do their voices, I will post them in other topics everytime 10 people sign my petition.
    4. A few free give aways, I want to cast myself to be the voices of "The Triforce of Courage" and "Majora's Mask". I want to bring in Captain Lou Albano and Danny Wells to do a "Super Mario Bros. Super Mini Movie" that will play in front of the main feature.
    5. All petition updates and sneak peaks will be posted as seprate topics
    That is all."

And also I got a question for you spotlight.
How would you like to be the DIRECTOR for "The Light of Courage"?
I'm serious, you want a Zelda movie made so bad, take my screenplay and make it happen.
In return, I want you to cast me as the voices for the triforce of courage and Majora's Mask.
In the t.v. show, both the triforces of wisdom and power would speak at times and their voices would be ecod, like in "The Ten Commandments" when God spoke the voice was ecod.
By saying yes, I'll give you full access to the screenplay once it is finished, then you can go on and make whatever changes you want, but no changing the story or the cariters.
... I also want full credit for all my work."

I wouldn't make your Zelda movie into a CGI movie like Bionicle but CGI should be used for most of the special effects."
