Well, maybe I should take the time to introduce myself. I'm a girl (Dutchie) that loves games, drawing, sport, internet, comics, cartoons/anime, music (who doesn't), politics, thinking/new ideas/new perspectives etc.

The The Legend of Zelda series is obviously one of my fav games/series. That's pretty much how I ended up here, although I'm mainly doing some cleaning (proper links, redirects, getting rid of anything biased to plausible theories, getting rid of anything biased against characters, improving grammar etc.). I might do Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland articles sometime in the future (already did Port Town and Aba).

# The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening - Best Zelda game ever. It has one of the most tragic stories in the Zelda games, that actually makes you wonder what side you are on (first thing I thought about when Majora said the thing about good guy vs. bad guy). Nightmare is the one Zelda villain that needs a hug the most. Yeah, pretty much every Zelda villain just needs a hug, but he for sure. I mean, he HAD TO BE evil in order to be able to exist. That's not really fair, now is it? Marin ranks in my Top-3-TLOZ-fav-girls list (followed by Fado and Agitha). I remember how I refused to play this game any further when I figured out that all I was doing was sacrificing all those people just so Link and the Wind Fish could live happily ever after. Just for my own nighttime sleep, I developed a theory about the "Dream World" (read "My Opinion" below). It makes me feel a bit better. :*(
Memo
# The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - What can I say? It's a tie with Link's Awakening qua doomsday scenario-story. Even when you beat the evil, victory doesn't taste sweet (the Deku Butler is a strong reminder). Also, the possibility to beat the bosses again and again within the same save file was fun. Same for seeing how certain events will unfold if you do things a little different (like the scene with Cremia if you already have the Romani Mask and didn't get hit when helping her get to Clock Town). Termina is awesome in ways that Hyrule just fails to be. And the Astral Observatory is an experience I have only felt again in Agitha's Castle.

# The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures - Who would've thought a foremost multiplayer game would be such a good singleplayer game? I certainly didn't when I bought it. But it isn't only its perfect dual nature that I love. I am still very much impressed with graphics (Jeeeey, a 2D console TLOZ!) that were a combination of A Link to the Past graphics, The Minish Cap graphics, a few The Wind Waker effects and a good amount of new stuff. The best recipes in the world were created when people tried to not waste food and make dishes out of the leftovers. This game tied so many things together, both qua graphics, story and atmosphere that I'd have to be mad not to give a high spot in my list.

# The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - How am I going to explain this? Most games, including other TLOZ games, are what they are: games. They are a good bbit of fun while playing and a sweet memory afterwards. Only very few games leave something more and The Wind Waker is such a game. I remember walking outside one morning, roughly two years after the last time I played it, and seeing a couple of geese flying over our house. And I immediately heard The Wind Wakers brilliant menu music, saw the blue ocean in front of me, remembered the first time I set foot on Dragon Roost Island or when I found Makar behind the waterfall. I also highly respect Nintendo for doing something completely different with the graphics. **** the realismlovers. If only this game wasn't rushed, it might've knocked Link's Awakening from the NR. 1 position.

# The Legend of Zelda: The Adventure of Link
|} - Need to remember coding.
# The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
# The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
# The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
# The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
# The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
# The Legend of Zelda - Just to get one thing straight: being last on the list doesn't mean I dislike this game. When you ask me what I want: cookies or ice cream, I'll say ice cream. Doesn't mean I don't like cookies. Yeah yeah, the "true fan" should like this game more, but I just don't. It's a great game, if only because this is the first game and it immediately did EVERYTHING right. Most of my respect for this game comes from the fact that the intelligent races were also represented by non-hostile individuals. How often do you see that in a game, especially in those days? It's ******* brilliant, and I wish Nintendo would've continued this tradition.

* Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland - I simply love this game. It makes the right amount of references to regular Zelda titles, but also is strong as a stand-alone title. Tingle is a really cool character in this game. And he definetely has more spine than Link when it comes to life. Tingle managed to get "kissed" (I wish I could tell you what that means) by "his princess" in his very first game, got declared a god by the Yamatami Tribe, became friends with virtually everyone and ended his adventure as a wealthy man, something he totally earned. If I could place this among the regular titles, it would come before The Adventure of Link and after The Wind Waker.

My Opinion
Just the theories I support. If you want to talk about one, just contact me. I'm always interested in a good discussion.

* I follow the Single Timeline theory. Not ONE timeline theory is flawless. Every single theory has contradictions. I simply chose this one, because I like it better. Makes Ocarina of Time more complex.
* I believe Fado is Mido's sister.
* I don't believe that the Rito "evolved" from the Sea Zora.
* I believe that The Minish Cap is currently the first game in the timeline. Anybody who still uses that quote from Miyamoto to "prove" Ocarina of Time comes first, is a retard. Common! That quote is outdated by roughly nine games. Other arguments for Ocarina of Time being first are fine , but that one not.
* I don't believe Farore is the "Oracle of Secrets". Seems to me it was a quick solution after the cancellation of the final Oracle game. Doesn't fit the title of the other two either.
* I don't believe the Twili seen in the Twilight Realm are Twili in their true shape. They differ too much from Princess Midna and Zant and actually resemble Midna in her imp form.
* I believe the "Dream World" is another separate realm that is just as real as all the other ones. One, I just don't like to think Link's that game's true baddie. Otherwise, The Minish Cap proved that there is interaction between the "real world" and the "realm of sleep", which would be impossible if the latter wasn't real. Also, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass seems to refer to the events in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, making it only more likely as Oshus called the supposed Dream World "his world".
* I believe the Kokiri/Koroks are without body. That is, they do have one, but it is not constant for the race; nor the shape, nor the material. This would explain why they are invisible from a distance in Ocarina of Time (I'd believe technical limits, if only everything/one else in the game also was invisible form a distance), are not-aging humanoid children-creatures in that game and wooden imps in The Wind Waker. I also believe that they reincarnate. The reason I believe this, is because Medli and Laruto always appeared next to each other, but Fado always appeared out of Makar. Makar even changed into Fado for a very short time. There is a different relation between them, and I think it is reincarnation.
