Super Mario Wiki features a more in-depth article.

The Triforce Tires items in Mario Kart 8.

Location and Uses

The Triforce Tires are the Tires that accompany the Master Cycle and the Hylian Kite in Mario Kart 8. They are Tires which bear the Triforce symbol on the hubcaps. In Mario Kart 8, they bear the same stats as the Slim and Crimson Slim Tires. However in Mario Kart 8, they were changed to be identical to the Off-Road and Retro Off-Road Tires instead.

The Triforce Tires are available as part of the The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 DLC pack for Mario Kart 8. In Mario Kart 8, they can be obtained randomly by collecting enough Coins.
