Although the two are very similar, there are subtle differences between Link and Toon Link's Triforce Slashes. The most impacting difference is the range. The beam Link fires from his hand to initiate the attack has a fairly large range, but Toon Link's only reaches about half as far. Another difference is the appearance of the Triforce, Toon Link's is much brighter (and thus, more "toonish") than Link's.

The Triforce Slash is Link's and Toon Link's Final Smash move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. When Link or Toon Link picks up the Smash Ball, he gains the ability to unleash a powerful move on one foe. The Triforce on the back of Link's hand glows and hits an opponent. The opponent is trapped as the young hero repeatedly slashes him or her with his sword 15 times, each strike dealing 4% damage. He then does one final slash that deals 18% damage and high knockback to finish the opponent off.
