Synopsis

Link reluctantly gets out of bed only to find that Ganon has sent his Moblins to attack the castle and steal the Triforce of Wisdom. Link grapples with the Moblins and sends them back to Ganon's Evil Jar by zapping them with his Sword Beam. Zelda is set to judge an amateur magician's contest, which Ganon plans to spoil by appearing in cognito in an attemtpt to steal the Triforce. The other entries in the contest fail to impress the princess until Ganon shows up and turns a lizard into a ferocious dragon. Link fights the dragon only to learn that it was a diversion and Ganon has stolen the Triforce anyway. Link and Zelda chase Ganon until he finally makes it to the entrance to the underworld, but Link throws a bomb at him, causing the Triforce to be knocked from his hands.

Notes

  • The cartoon series establishes that Link's entire inventory is actually shrunk inside his magic pouch. When Link is fighting the dragon, he pulls a miniaturized shield from the pouch, which then grows to normal size.
  • This episode marks the only time the Triforce of Power speaks.
