New Main Page

If you have any comments regarding the update, you can add them below! User:Abdullah/sig 13:43, 5 December 2011 (EST)

Shouldn't we have kept the links to the stuff like hyrule castle? I go to hyrule castle almost all the time and it gets annoying to type "zelda wiki:hyrule castle" when I want to get there. --Person777 15:55, 5 December 2011 (EST)
I like the changes that have been made. There are still some awkward blank spaces underneath the trivia, the featured article, etc. Also, Zelda Temple redirects to LegendZelda now, so the Masterminds should probably be updated... BrandedOne 21:25, 5 December 2011 (EST)
I've found that the link for Items in Lttp under the Lttp tab leads to Items in Zelda 1. Its simply a linking error but it still should be fixed. Dekublast. Glitch Seeker 12:26, 25 December 2011 (EST)
Guys, thanks for the input! We're looking into it and should have fixes up soon! Stay on the lookout for more bugs! — ciprianotalk

Small problem, the link under the Adventure of Link tab for 'enemies' links to the enemies page for the first game, rather than the enemies page for Zelda II. Lord Linebeck

Thanks for letting us know, it has been fixed! :) --Dany36 11:15, 24 January 2012 (EST)
Another thing... under 'Places' for the Adventure of Link tab, it says Darunai instead of Darunia. Ekim 11:43, 24 January 2012 (EST)
Fixed. — Hylian King [*] 13:36, 24 January 2012 (EST)

Main page problem

I noticed that if you move your mouse over the The Legend of Zelda icon it is impossible to reach the listings without moving it over the The Adventure of Link (opening the AoL listings) or off the icon (removing the LoZ icon). This can probably be fixed if the area the listings appears in is moved or if the list is made wider. --Person777 20:17, 12 January 2012 (EST)

Go on the icon, move the mouse straight down. Anyway, we'll look into your suggestions. Did you have a similar problem with Skyward Sword? User:Abdullah/sig 20:27, 12 January 2012 (EST)

No Skyward Sword has a larger size, so the name overlaps the icon, putting you on the list straitaway. By the way, what do you mean by move the mouse strait down. That just puts you on the main page. And also after I posted my suggestion I noticed that it would work if you moved the mouse really fast, which could be hard for some people. --Person777 16:27, 18 January 2012 (EST)

I guess we're seeing two different things. Could you please upload a screenshot of the issue? Also, what browser (and version, if possible) are you using? User:Abdullah/sig 16:07, 19 January 2012 (EST)

I'm editing on Mozilla and IT WORKS! I was having problems on IE which is what I normally use. I haven't checked on google chrome, but it doesn't matter because I guess it's just the browser. --Person777 15:20, 12 February 2012 (EST)

I've done some edits, and it should look better in IE. Are you still experiencing problems with it? User:Abdullah/sig 13:24, 13 February 2012 (EST)
Accually it's still not working. I got a screenshot and I tried to upload it but it said the MIME or something was wrong. I am not a whiz with computers so I have no idea what that means but i'll try to get the image on this page as soon as I can. --Person777 18:09, 13 February 2012 (EST)

Our Wiki Broke

I have no idea if this is only happening on my computer or not, but the whole wiki is spread out. There's one of those scrolling things on the bottom of the page and practically everything is replaced with a line of red text talking about invalid stuff. The featured article is replaced with all these letters and numbers. I don't know if this is a problem with the wiki, my browser, the internet, my computer, or my brain, so if anyone else sees this let me know. --Person777 13:15, 21 June 2012 (EDT)

Try clearing your cache and refreshing the page. If that doesn't help, copy the red text and paste it here. Also, what's "all these letters and numbers"? User:Abdullah/sig 15:56, 21 June 2012 (EDT)
Never mind, it's 8:02 and it's gone now. The main page breaks om my computer a lot, but it was never as serious as that. --Person777 20:05, 21 June 2012 (EDT)

I just noticed that Legend Zelda is not shown on the front page! Edit: So it was removed by the owner in order for a new banner to be added. It's been four months since then though. Zeldafan1982 11:57, 25 September 2012 (EDT)

I'll try letting Noah know. He probably forgot. — Hylian King [*] 18:11, 25 September 2012 (EDT)

Problem

Hello, I just wanted to comment that on the side of the main page,(Like where it says the articles about Music Monday, etc.) it says Error: It's not possible to get http://wikirby.com/rssfeed.php... What does that mean and how can I fix it? User:Darkness/sig 13:12, 2 November 2012 (UTC)

When a page is not displaying properly, purging its cache usually solves the problem. The "purge" option can be found in the dropdown next to the "View history" button (there's also the keyboard shortcut, alt+0). The Mastermind feed is displaying just fine on my end, though... Have you tried clearing your browser's cache? — Hylian King [*] 11:59, 4 November 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks. That fixed the problem. User:Darkness/sig 23:17, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

This problem has been happening for me for three days now... I tried clearing my cache but it didn't change Alibi 13:10, 31 March 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The RSS feed seems to be down. I'll notify the other staff and we'll try to get it fixed ASAP. — Hylian King [*] 13:13, 31 March 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

What?

Are there supposed to be ads on the main page?! If so why! --Person777 20:11, 4 February 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Because they pay for the monthly server bills and for maintenance. It was deemed that banner ads would be more beneficial for the site (and less invasive) than the in-text ads we were using before.
If it makes it any better, the ads might possibly be disabled for registered users in the future. — Hylian King [*] 21:45, 4 February 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh. Well, now the ads aren't appearing on my computer. I'm not sure if that was supposed to happen. Well, if it gives you money and disappears on my screen I'm OK with it! --Person777 20:40, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well we're thinking that disabling ads for registered users probably won't have much of an impact on the ad revenue so we're trying that for now. The site is now 100% ad-free for logged-in users, at least for now. Enjoy! — Hylian King [*] 21:34, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Featured Picture

Can the description of the featured image be changed to "Link versus Dark Link"? It's not Shadow Link. User:Darkness/sig 21:18, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

Good call, although his name appears to be "Link's Shadow" in AOL. I'll go ahead and change the caption. — Hylian King [*] 21:39, 26 February 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

3DS Zelda game

On the mouseover navigation portals near the top of the page, someone should add the newly confirmed 3DS Zelda (and possibly the Wii U one as well), since we know they exist. Mahboi 02:25, 18 April 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
