== Article name change ==
Although I was the one to initially create this page a few years ago, it seems a better name would be "Critical Window",  "Critical Period", or "Critical Moment", all of which better reference the time aspect and add distance to any relation of "weak spot". I'm not surprised that, as it stands, Critical Point is confused with weak spot because the article name makes it seem like more of a location than a time period. Thoughts?
I'd also be nice to discuss how to increase the visibility of these pages on the wiki - these pages are hard to find, even when you're looking for them, because they're fanon terms (see [[Weapon Strength]] also) and they fall under the "I have an idea of what this is, but not sure what its called" territory. {{:User:Cipriano/sig}} 10:58, 14 April 2014  (EST)

In 2D games

I added critical points for Minish Cap, as many parts of the bosses have critical points. There may be critical points in other 2D Zelda games, And I think they should be added.--The Game Master 21:54, 4 May 2009 (UTC)--The Game MasterReply[reply]

Good job, I never even knew we had this article. One thing tho, when you pipe link anything for example "The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap| The Minish Cap" the '|'slashbar separates the pagelink from what will be visible. So in that example '|The Minish Cap' marks it so that only those words will be shown ;) User:Axiomist/sig 02:13, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Defination

For critical you don't just have to use a sword. Critical point is basicly the time when a boss can be hurt after being attacked in a certain way. Ganondox 02:07, 27 August 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Improve

I've realized the improve template on this article was placed for the most part in respect to the large amount of sentence fragments and ambiguity in this article. I've done a bit to fix that in the first three game sections, but I have to log out for a bit - will come back to it later, others can take over in the meantime =)User:Cipriano 119/sig 22:07, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

You are correct. That's why I flagged it in the first place ;)
And it looks much better, now. Good work!Justin(Talk) 20:47, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

ATTENTION

For reference purposes, the CRITICAL POINT is a narrow space in time Link can inflict major damage on a boss. It is NOT the same as a WEAK POINT, which is the actual area where heavy damage can be inflicted.

Make sure you are using the right term when linking Critical Point to articles =) User:Cipriano 119/sig 03:37, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

Skyward Sword

Hey I was wondering if we should add the skyward sword bosses because some of the have critical points. Just curious, so... should we?--EpicDude25 19:55 (PST) 22 January 2012

Since it has all the others, then ya, it probably should --Stelargk 22:59, 22 January 2012 (EST)

Ok I'll start tomorrow. I might take a while for it to be finished though, so help would be appreciated. --EpicDude25 20:10 (PST) 22 January 2012

Ok well I got it done, but can someone clean it up (and add an image) because the last boss listed in Spirit Tacks made it down to Skyward Sword for some reason. Thanks in advance. --EpicDude25 18:01 (PST) 23 January 2012

That error was present because the Spirit Tracks section wasn't sealed off with |}. It's fixed now. User:Pakkun/sig 01:05, 24 January 2012 (EST)
