Syrup (シロップ, Shiroppu) is an old witch who has made several appearances to date. Her name makes up the second part of an in-game joke when combined with the name of her apprentice, Maple (Maple Syrup), in Template:OOS and Template:OOA.

She first appears in Template:ALTTP, under ownership of a potion shop, as she is in all of her other in-game appearances. Syrup's only role in this game, and as in Link's Awakening while living on Koholint Island, is to make Magic Powder from a certain mushroom that Link provides her. Her latest appearance is in The Minish Cap, selling Blue Potion in her hut in the Minish Woods. She will also sell Red Potion once Link has fused kinstones with the Minish living in the south-west corner of South Hyrule Field. It is also necessary for Link to buy a Wake-up Mushroom[1] from her in order to wake up Rem, the native shoe salesman.
