The Spiritual Stone of the Forest, also known as the Kokiri Emerald, is one of the three Spiritual Stones Link had to acquire in order to gain access to the part of the Temple of Time where the Master Sword rested during his adventures in Ocarina of Time. By relieving the Great Deku Tree of the evil which had infested it, Link proved his courage and earned enough trust from the Great Deku Tree for it to trust Link with this stone and the fate of Hyrule.
