Location and Uses
Location and Uses
Ship Parts can be found all around the World of the Ocean King. They can be won in minigames or found inside Treasure Chests.
The PH consists of eight customizable PH: PH, PH, PH, PH, PH, PH, PH, and PH. The ninth PH, the PH, cannot be changed. While traveling on the PH, the PH appears green instead of red to denote the stamina of the Ship rather than PH's health.
The S.S. Linebeck consists of eight Ship Parts: prow, anchor, hull, cannon, handrail, bridge, chimney, and wheel. The ninth part, the Salvage Arm, cannot be changed. While traveling on the S.S. Linebeck, the Heart meter appears green instead of red. This denotes the endurance of the ship rather than Link's health. The more parts of the same set are used, the more health it will have. The S.S. Linebeck has four Hearts, which can be increased to seven if it has all the parts of another set. Attaching all the Golden Parts gives another Heart for a total of eight. Docking the ship at any island's port replenishes all the ship's health.

The Ship Parts can be sold to the Teller of Treasures. All parts in the same set have the same sale value, and the sale value of each set is individual to every game, being randomly determined at the beginning. The only exception are the Golden Ship parts, which can be sold for 1,500 Rupees each. Once a part has been sold, its price is recorded on the Collection Screen. Ship Parts may also be swapped among other players for either other Ship Part or Treasure via Tag Mode and Battle Mode. Access to Freedle's magic boxes is required to trade. Parts of the S.S. Linebeck cannot be sold nor placed in Freedle's boxes.
Attaching new PH to the PH can increase its stamina from it initial four PH. When using three, six, or all eight PH from the same set, its stamina is increased to five, six, or seven PH, respectively. For every two PH from the PH set used, its stamina is increased by one PH, up to a maximum of eight PH. Docking the Ship at any PH's port replenishes all the Ship's stamina.

Most PH can be sold to the PH on PH. All PH in the same set have the same value, and the value of each set is randomly selected from three possibilities at the creation of the Save file: 50, 150, or 800 PH. The only exceptions are the PH parts, which are always valued at 1,500 PH apiece, and the default PH from the PH, which are valued at zero PH and cannot be sold. Once a PH has been sold, its value is recorded on the PH menu.

Ship Parts are items in Phantom Hourglass.[7]

Location and Uses

The SS Linebeck consists of eight customizable Ship Parts: Prow, Anchor, Hull, Cannon, Handrail, Bridge, Chimney, and Wheel. The ninth Ship Part, the Salvage Arm, cannot be changed. While traveling on the SS Linebeck, the Life Gauge appears green instead of red to denote the stamina of the Ship rather than Link's health.

Attaching new Ship Part to the SS Linebeck can increase its stamina from it initial four Hearts. When using three, six, or all eight Ship Parts from the same set, its stamina is increased to five, six, or seven Hearts, respectively. For every two Ship Parts from the Golden Ship set used, its stamina is increased by one Heart, up to a maximum of eight Hearts. Docking the Ship at any Island's port replenishes all the Ship's stamina.

Ship Parts are obtained through various methods:

Link can collect multiple instances of the same Ship Part, up to 99 of each.

Most Ship Parts can be sold to the Treasure Teller on Mercay Island. All Ship Parts in the same set have the same value, and the value of each set is randomly selected from three possibilities at the creation of the Save file: 50,[2] 150,[3] or 800 Rupees.[4] The only exceptions are the Golden Ship parts, which are always valued at 1,500 Rupees apiece,[5] and the default Ship Parts from the SS Linebeck, which are valued at zero Rupees and cannot be sold.[1] Once a Ship Part has been sold, its value is recorded on the Collection Screen menu.

In Shops, a special paper is used to represent Ship Parts. It features the following inscriptions written in Hylian:
