Scoot Fruit

The Scoot Fruit is an item which can be found in A Link Between Worlds. When Link uses a Scoot Fruit inside a dungeon, he is immediately transported to its entrance. This item only works in dungeons, and may not work in certain circumstances.

The Scoot Fruit can be bought from the Kakariko Item Shop of Lakeside Item Shop for 50 Rupees. It can then be accessed from the item screen. Unlike conventional items, the Scoot Fruit disappears after one use. Since Link can only hold one of these fruits at a time, it must be purchased again after each time it is used. The Scoot Fruit shares many characteristics with the Foul Fruit, as both can be obtained in the same shops and both are the only single-use items not held in bottles.

Notably, the Runaway Shopkeeper asks Link for Scoot Fruit. If Link obliges, he is rewarded with a Silver Rupee, which amounts to 50 rupees after considering the cost of fruit Link trades away.
