Sacred Tear

Location and Uses
The Sacred Tears are found within the Silent Realm of each respective region. The Tears of Farore are found in Faron Woods, the Tears of Din in Eldin Volcano, the Tears of Nayru in Lanayru Desert, and the Sacred Tears in Skyloft. To leave a Silent Realm and obtain a new item required to locate the Sacred Flames and later the Triforce, Link must collect 15 Sacred Tears that must be stored in the Spirit Vessel. However, Guardians patrol the area and chase after Link. As such, he must use the tear-shaped items in the alternate reality to stun the creatures for 90 seconds while he continues to look for the rest of the tears.[2] If Link is spotted by a Guardian, the remaining Tears will shoot a light into the sky to reveal their locations until one is collected. This effect can be duplicated by collecting a Light Fruit, albeit for only 30 seconds.[3]
