==Trivia==
*Oddly, Tears of Nayru are yellow in color, while Sacred Tears are blue. Usually, however, Nayru is associated with and represented by the color blue. This most likely stems from Nayru's Silent Realm being parallel to the Lanayru Desert (in which, due to the sand, yellow is the prevailing color), though this is again odd, as the Lanayru region was originally lush and filled with water.

Template:Item

The Sacred Tears are items featured in Skyward Sword.

Location

The Tears are found within the Silent Realm of each respective region: the Tears of Farore for the Faron Woods, the Tears of Din for the Eldin Volcano, the Tears of Nayru for the Lanayru Desert, and just Sacred Tears for Skyloft. These tears have a similar function to that of the Tears of Light from Twilight Princess.

Uses

To leave the Silent Realm, gain spiritual growth, and obtain a new item required to locate the Sacred Flames and, later, the Triforce, Link will have to collect fifteen Sacred Tears to store into the Spirit Vessel. However, powerful Guardians will be patrolling the area and chase after the young hero. As such, Link must use the tear-shaped items in the alternate reality to stun the creatures for 90 seconds while he continues to look for the rest of the tears.[1] If Link is spotted by a Guardian, the remaining tears will shoot up a light in the sky to reveal their location until one is collected. This same effect can be duplicated by collecting a Light Fruit, although it only lasts for 30 seconds.[2]

Trivia

  • Oddly, Tears of Nayru are yellow in color, while Sacred Tears are blue.
