Location and Uses
The Royal Engineer's Certificate is given by Princess Zelda to anyone certified to conduct a train. Link receives this from the princess herself at the beginning of the game during his ceremony to officially become a Royal Engineer. It will remain in the inventory for the rest of the game where it can be viewed.
