Template:Minigame Rollgoal is a minigame found in Twilight Princess.

Location

Rollgoal is the invention of Hena[1] and is located on one of the chairs in her fishing hut (located in Upper Zora's River). It costs 5 Rupees per game and awards 10 Rupees for a win.

Rules

Rollgoal involves moving a small ball over a track from one end to the other by tilting the Wii Remote or analog stick in the chosen direction. It is possible to cheat by rolling the ball over gaps, but Hena will always catch Link if he attempts to do so, and she will force him to pay another 5 Rupees and start the level again. Each time the game is completed, it increases in difficulty until the Frog Lure is awarded for completion.

The game consists of 8 levels with 8 rounds per level, so there are a total of 64 rounds. All 8 levels are the same and have the same rounds in the same order. After beating all 8 rounds in a level, the next level's rounds will be mirrored. So level 1 is the same as levels 3, 5, and 7 and level 2 is the same as levels 4, 6, and 8. There are 4 kinds of blocks; normal, curved, start and finish (which are circles), and starting at level 5, skateboard-type ramps will appear for the ball to roll down and back up. Each time all eight rounds of a level are completed, Hena will reduce the time limit by twenty seconds, making it more difficult for the next round. At the final level, only forty seconds remain on the clock.

Once level 8-8 (the last round of the last level) is completed, freeplay will be unlocked in order to play any level with an increased time limit, and Hena will also fill up Link's wallet to the maximum it can hold.
