A Pyrup is an enemy featured in Skyward Sword. They are seal-like enemies that reside in fiery areas.
They hide in holes in walls and breath fire at Link. To defeat them, the young hero must roll a bomb close enough to their hole, causing the resulting explosion to kill them. A mobile, shelled variant also appears, allowing them to simultaneously spin and breath fire at Link. The young hero must throw a bomb at their shells to destroy them.
Etymology
The name Pyrup derives from "pyro", the Greek word for fire, which is appropriate as they breath fire and live in hot climates.
