Purple Keatons only appear in Dark Hyrule Castle. They bear a purple color palette in accordance with Vaati's corruption, though they retain the same amount of health and deal no more damage than Yellow Keatons. Like Yellow Keatons, they will charge forward at Link with their daggers; if he is struck, he will lose Rupees, though they can be recovered. Purple Keatons often drop Blue Rupees when defeated.
Trivia
- Keatons are derived from the mythological Japanese fox creature, kitsune, notable for their trickery.[citation needed]
