Template:Item The Pirate's Charm is a recurring item in The Legend of Zelda series.

Location and Uses

The Wind Waker

The Pirate's Charm is given to Link by Tetra during his first visit to the Forsaken Fortress.

It allows Tetra and the King of Red Lions to communicate with Link and to see what he is doing.[1][2] It gives off a sparkling blue glow capable of altering the lighting of the immediate area when Link examines it. When someone is trying to reach Link, it alerts him by chiming.[3]

According to Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule, the Pirate's Charm is an enhanced version of the then ancient Gossip Stones that he himself crafted.[4] It was subsequently passed down through the Royal Family of Hyrule until it was inherited by Tetra, who is actually Princess Zelda.

Other Appearances

Hyrule Warriors

In Hyrule Warriors, Aryll uses the Pirate's Charm to speak on behalf of Toon Link. Pirate's Charms are also Silver Materials which are dropped by Toon Link in Hyrule Warriors Legends and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.
