Pinkle

Pinkle(ピンクル, Pinkuru), originally known as Pingle, is a Fairy who appeared in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. She's the daughter of the Grand Fairy of Fairy Garden. Because of that, she was kidnapped by Uncle Rupee and is forced to work for him (which is why she wears an outfit similar to Tingle's). She acts as an adviser for Tingle during his quest in Freshly Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland by communicating to him through a DS-looking contraption in his house, and the Tingle Tuner when he is traveling. By collecting all the Rupee Goods, one can free Pinkle from her prison to gain an extra story-related segment and gain extra power for the final battle. This has some parallels with getting the Fierce Deity's Mask in Majora's Mask, which also requires the player to complete roughly all sidequests and rewards the player with extra story information and more power during the final battle. However, while the Fierce Deity Mask is completely optional, there's some pressure to free Pinkle as that makes the difference between getting the bad ending and the good ending.
