His daughter, the Girl, always pesters him to visit places such as Ravio's Shop and he always gives in. He also expreeses wishes to do StreetPass with Gramps, but lacks a sword to do so.[1]
Theory
It is likely that Gramps is Papa's father, since he talks about him a lot, and Gramps and Papa are informal terms for grandfathers and fathers, respectively.
