The Bombers' Notebook
The Old Lady's entry in the Bombers' Notebook is one of the shortest and easiest to complete. On the night of the First Day, Link must visit North Clock Town. Around midnight, the Old Lady will enter the town. At approximately 12:30 AM, right as the Old Lady passes the mailbox, Sakon the thief will steal her sack full of Big Bomb Bags. Link must quickly attack the thief with his sword to make him drop the sack. Sakon will then prance around before leaving town. After Sakon has left the scene, the Old Lady will thank Link and reward him with the Blast Mask. However, if Link shoots the sack with an arrow while Sakon is carrying it, it will explode, leading to failure of the notebook entry. Sakon completely disappears from the town, and does not appear in Ikana Canyon, having obviously been blown to smithereens by the blast.
