At approximately 12:30 AM, right as the Old Lady passes the mailbox, [[Sakon]] the thief will steal her sack full of [[Bomb Bag|Big Bomb Bags]].<ref>{{cite|Stop! Thief!!! The Old Lady is one of twenty characters who has an entry in the Bombers' Notebook. Upon completion of the entry, Link will receive the Blast Mask as a reward for helping the old lady.[1] Her son is the owner of the Bomb Shop.

The Old Lady seems to be a firm believer of the Four Giants. After Link helps her, she credits the Giants for having looked out for her.[2]
