Template:Item

The Noble Sword is a weapon that appears in both Template:OOA and Template:OOS. It is more powerful than the Wooden Sword, but less powerful than both Biggoron's Sword and the Master Sword. The Noble Sword can either be acquired by completing the respective game's Trading Sequence, or via a secret password in a Linked Game.

In Oracle of Ages, the Noble Sword is obtained by completing the Oracle of Ages Trading Sequence. To obtain it, Link must take the Broken Sword he received from the Old Zora to Patch atop the Restoration Wall. If Link helps Patch with his "ceremony", he will repair the Broken Sword and return it to Link as the Noble Sword.[1]

Providing Link has not already earned it, the Noble Sword can also be obtained in a Linked Game by way of a secret password. This is done by telling King Zora the secret password heard from the Zora in the Hero's Cave in Holodrum. Alternatively, Link can tell the secret he heard from the Old Lady near Horon Village to the Old Man in the basement of Tick Tock's Shop in Holodrum, then transfer the Noble Sword to Labrynna via the Hall of Secrets.

If Link has already obtained the Noble Sword through the Trading Sequence, he will receive the Master Sword upon telling the secret. Alternatively, if Link has already earned the Noble Sword via the secret password, when he brings the Broken Sword to Patch, he will receive the Master Sword there instead.

The Noble Sword in Template:OOS is also earned by completing the game's Trading Sequence. If Link plays the Phonograph for the Business Scrub in the Lost Woods, he will give Link instructions on how to find the Noble Sword in the Lost Woods.[2] Reminiscent of Template:ALTTP, the Noble Sword will be resting in a pedestal, waiting for Link to take it.

Like in Template:OOA, the Noble Sword can also be obtained via secret passwords in a Linked Game. This can be done by either telling the secret told by Old Lady near Horon Village in Labrynna to the Old Man basement of Tick Tock's Shop; or by telling the Hero's Cave Zora's secret to King Zora in Labrynna, then using the Hall of Secrets in Holodrum.

Also like Template:OOA, if Link has already obtained the Noble Sword via the secret password, he will receive the Master Sword for completing the Trading Sequence, and vice-versa.
