| The [[64 Disc Drive]] was an attempted expansion for the [[Nintendo 64]] system. Released only in Japan, the discs had more space than the cartridges, but they did not sell very well, and so the 64 Disc Drive was a failure.

| However, [[Ura Zelda]] (Ocarina of Time Master Quest) was released for the 64 Disc Drive. This game was later re-released and much more publically accepted as a pre-order bonus disc for Nintendo Gamecube when one pre-ordered Wind Waker.
