The 64 Disc Drive was an attempted expansion for the Nintendo 64 system. Released only in Japan, the discs had more space than the cartridges, but they did not sell very well, and so the 64 Disc Drive was a failure.
However, Ura Zelda (Ocarina of Time Master Quest) was released for the 64 Disc Drive. This game was later re-released and much more publically accepted as a pre-order bonus disc for Nintendo Gamecube when one pre-ordered Wind Waker.
