"My Hero" is a Side Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Overview
At Outskirt Stable, Link can find Aliza standing under one of the Trees across the road. When he speaks to her, Aliza reveals that she has been waiting for him.[2] She claims that the Tree she is standing at is sacred, and she has finally met the hero of Hyrule underneath it.[3] However, if Link has not yet acquired the Master Sword, Aliza will retract her claim, regardless if Link affirms or denies the accusation.[4][5][note 1] Aliza then asks Link to direct the hero to her should he encounter him,[9] initiating the Side Quest.
Upon retrieving the Master Sword, Link can return to Aliza underneath her sacred Tree and present it as proof of his status.[10][11] Recognizing the Master Sword,[12] Aliza will accept Link as the hero she has waited for and present him with a Star Fragment.[13][note 2] Afterwards, Aliza will comment on how great it was to meet the hero, but since Link is not her type, she begrudges the fact that her excitement has dissipated.[15] She then leaves her spot from the base of the Tree, completing the Side Quest.[16]
