After making the necessary donations, the Malo Mart Castle Branch, or Castle Town Malo Mart, will open up in Hyrule Castle Town, which is actually run by a now more cheerful Chudley. This shop has very low prices and is very lively with energetic music and shoppers. Once the second shop opens, most of the people in Castle Town will be carrying around Malo Mart bags. The significance of this second location is that it is the only seller of the Magic Armor, Link's final tunic.
After funding the takeover of Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium, the Malo Mart Castle Branch opens up in Hyrule Castle Town, which is run by a now much more cheerful Chudley.

Trivia
Nomenclature
*The Shopkeeper in the second franchise of Malo Mart is actually the same shopkeeper from Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium
Nomenclature
*The signs with Malo's face plastered around his shop read "Maro's". The reason for this is that the Japanese version of the name is Maro, and in Japanese "L" and "R" are interchangeable.

Malo Mart,[1] also known as Kakariko Goods,[name references needed] is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series. Its flagship store, located in Kakariko Village, is owned and operated by Malo.

Features and Overview

Twilight Princess

Malo Mart is originally a run-down shop in Kakariko Village known as "Kakariko Goods". When Malo finds it, he decides to reopen the shop as his own.[2] Although he can be a bit rude,[3] he likes to keep his prices low and serve his customers well, hoping to be a financial "hero."[4] Malo Mart is the only place where Link can purchase the Hawkeye and the Hylian Shield.

After Link obtains the Master Sword, Malo Mart proposes a Townspeople-Relief Plan to stop shops in Hyrule Castle Town gouging prices.[5] However, Malo Mart lacks the funds to enact this Plan so Gor Ebizo asks Link to donate to Malo Mart's cause,[6] first asking for 1000 Rupees to Repair the bridge between Hyrule Field and East Castle Town.[7] Upon receiving enough Rupees to Repair the Bridge, Gor Ebizo celebrates and hopes Link will continue to fund the Plan while Malo notes that the shops will soon regret their price-gouging.[8][9][10] For the next part of the Plan, Malo Mart needs 2000 Rupees to buy Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium in Castle Town.[citation needed] If Link delivers the Hot Springwater to the Goron near the newly repaired Bridge, Malo Mart manages to save up Rupees, reducing the amount of Rupees needed to buy Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium to 200 Rupees.[11]

After funding the takeover of Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium, the Malo Mart Castle Branch opens up in Hyrule Castle Town, which is run by a now much more cheerful Chudley.
