Malo is one of the children who is taken by the bandits in the beginning of Twilight Princess. He is the son of Jaggle and Pergie. He is short and doesn't like to talk much. Despite his infantile appearance, he is actually very mature and rude. This is first made apparent when Link is showing the children how to use a sword. If you do the incorrect action, he will mutter under his breath. He is also very sarcastic. For example, when Link is told to use the spin attack, he will say something like "Oh yeah, it's real hard to briefy hold B and then release it..."
Once you find the children in Kakariko Village, he sets up Malo Mart, a shop. He sells you the Hylian Shield and later on the Hawkeye. After the Goron Mines, some of the elders come down and ask to help repair the Eastern bridge for 1000 rupees. Once it's paid off, they want to raise 2000 rupees to buy a shop in Castle Town. You can pay 2000 rupees, or you can pay 200 if you pour hot spring water on one elder's son. Once Malo Mart is set up in Castle Town, you can buy the Magic Armor for a slightly lower price drop from 100,000 to 598 rupees.
