Mago[1] is a Wizzrobe-like enemy in The Adventure of Link. These orange-cloaked magicians first appear in the Palace on the Sea and attack by throwing a fireball a short distance in front of them along the floor in hopes of striking Link. Unlike Wizards, they can be defeated using Link's sword. However, they can take quite a few hits before they fall, and their teleportation makes them very bothersome to fight.

Trivia

  • Official art depicts them as a witch, making them the first witch to appear in the series.
