Madderpillar are giant caterpillars, bright blue in color, and appear in The Minish Cap.

Characteristics

Madderpillar are a reference to Wigglers.[citation needed] Their lairs are usually covered in spiderwebs which can be removed with the Flame Lantern or the Gust Jar. Link can defeat them by hitting their nose, then after it turns gray, their tail then bulges out in succession (a weak point shared with Moldorm). After a couple of hits, it will turn red and begin rampage around the lair for a while before it turns back blue.
