Link's Awakening

Madam MeowMeow is often found boasting about BowWow's fur coat in her home located in Mabe Village.[3] In addition to BowWow, she owns two other smaller Chain Chomps. ChowChow lives in the house with her, while CiaoCiao lives in the Doghouse attached to the side of her house.[4]

When Link returns with the Full Moon Cello from Tail Cave, her beloved BowWow is "dognapped" by Moblins,[5] Link must go to the Moblin Cave and get him back from the King Moblin. Upon returning to her with BowWow, Madam MeowMeow will ask Link to take him for a walk.[6] After Link completes Bottle Grotto, he can bring back BowWow to Madam MeowMeow who will reward him with a kiss that fully refills his Life Gauge.[7]
