Template:Character Lord Kiro[1] is a character in The Wand of Gamelon. He is believed to be the royal retainer to the King of Hyrule, Harkinian. He is sometimes given the name {{{2}}} by fans.

Biography

During his quest to aid Duke Onkled, whose island of Gamelon was seized by Ganon, King Harkinian encountered Ganon at one point and was captured as his prisoner. Lord Kiro had tried to stop him, but was captured as well and put in chains by Ganon's minion Hektan,[2] who then imprisoned him at Duke Onkled's palace, Dodomai Palace. After Zelda defeats Hektan and rescues Lord Kiro, he reveals to her that Duke Onkled is corrupt and had betrayed the King.[3] He tells her to strike the head of a portrait within the palace library to enter Onkled's locked chamber, and gives her the key to the library. After they find him there, Onkled begs them not to hurt him and reveals to Zelda the entrance to Reesong Palace, where Ganon is hiding. Lord Kiro then apprehends him.

After Zelda defeats Ganon and rescues her father, Lord Kiro quickly points out Onkled as the traitor to the King. Onkled begs for the King's mercy, but is ordered by Harkinian to "scrub all the floors in Hyrule" as punishment, and Lord Kiro takes him away.

Trivia

  • Ganon refers to Lord Kiro as "the runt", possibly suggesting that he is a short man.[2]
  • Lord Kiro's fan name of "Fari" likely originates from the "Youtube Poop" remix video "Zelda has a boyfriend", created by SkyPilot1177. The name was created by inverting Gwonam's "We're off!" quote.
  • An outfit in The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes called the Dapper Spinner bears a strong resemblance to his design.
