Lakitus are enemies in The Minish Cap. They are directly based on the Lakitu enemies from the Mario series.

Characteristics and Weaknesses

Lakitus appear in the Cloud Tops and the Palace of Winds. They can throw lighting bolts at Link when he is near them. If Link is too close to the Lakitu, it will hide in its cloud until he walks farther away. Therefore, Link must use ranged weapons to defeat them. These include the Boomerang, the Bow, or the Cane of Pacci. Link can also use the Gust Jar to steal their clouds.
