King Gleeoks are Sub-Bosses in Tears of the Kingdom.[4]
Characteristics
King Gleeoks are three-headed Gleeoks that appeared after the Upheaval.[5] They are massive creatures, towering well above Link and even dwarfing other large enemies such as Molduga. The heads of King Gleeoks each correspond to an Element: the Gleeok's left head corresponds to Ice, the center head corresponds to Fire, and the right head corresponds to Electricity. King Gleeoks use each of their heads in combat, launching brutally-coordinated elemental attacks at Link.[5]
Each head can use the attacks of its corresponding element: fireballs and streams of fire for the fire head, clouds of frigid air and beams of ice for the ice head, and electric spheres and lightning beams for the electric head. Their large wings allow them to hover above the ground; when at low health, they fly very high and unleash a combination of a giant fireball, raining massive icicles, and lightning strikes. While on the ground, they will flap their wings to create strong winds that keep Link from approaching; in order to stun them long enough to attack, Link must shoot all three of their heads within a short period of time. Their Fire head is vulnerable to Water and Ice-based attacks, and the Ice head is vulnerable to Fire-based attacks.
King Gleeoks only appear in the Sky and the Depths. As neither of these regions typically have weather, they cannot cause Thunderstorms, Heat, or Snow as other Gleeoks can.
