The Isle of the Dead is an island in Phantom Hourglass.[1] It can be found once Link has obtained the Northeastern Sea Chart and is notably shaped like King Mutoh's skull. Located on the Isle of the Dead is the Sage's Graveyard, the Phantom Hallway, the Rupoor Maze, and many secret passages under the surface of the island. Stalfos are the main enemy on this island. Found in the Phantom Hallway is the ghost of the fourth knight, Brant, who opens the way to the Regal Necklace.

Locations and Features

Sage's Graveyard

The Sage's Graveyard is a graveyard where nine sages are buried. Of the nine tombstones located there, six will give Link a specific direction on how to get through the Phantom Hallway. Three are unreadable.

Phantom Corridor

The Phantom Corridor is found in the only pyramid located the island. It is impassable unless Link obtains directions from the sages. At the end of the hallway is the tomb of Brant, the fourth Cobble knight, who gives the young hero the Regal Necklace in order to cease the tornado that is at the entrance of the Isle of Ruins.

Rupoor Maze

The short maze is filled with Rupoors and Keese. It is located in the first cave on the island, behind the bombable wall to the left of all the desks, close to the exit of the cave. The small Rupoors are valued at 10, while the larger ones are valued at 50. At the end of the maze, Link can find Rupees on the floor, pots, and four Treasure Chests with a Treasure Map, a Courage Gem, and two Ship Parts. The Rupoors can be avoided by walking incredibly slowly.
