The Isle of Ember is an island that appears in Phantom Hourglass.

Features

The Isle of Ember is the island where the first Temple, Temple of Fire, is located. It also has a large volcano, which erupts when Link is traveling up the mountain to the temple.

The island is the home of the fortune-teller Astrid, who is trapped inside her own safety area, after hiding inside after the Ghost Ship docked at the volcanic island. Link must shout through the door to find out that it can be only unlocked by finding the whereabouts of the three torches located around the island. Only her assistant Kayo knows where they are. Kayo is unfortunately dead, but, once his grave is found, he will tell the young hero the locations of the torches.

After access to the dungeon is revealed, Link has to navigate around the volcano and walk close to the crater of the volcano. While at the same time, dodging the native Tektites and the hot rocks that fall from the sky after being fired by the volcano's eruption. At the end, he finds the Temple of Fire, which holds the Boomerang and the Spirit of Power known as Leaf.[1]
